1. What does my membership include?
-Access to the Cooley Center and our satellite locations at SPH 9th floor fitness or the 24/7 Meyer location in the hospital (must stop by Cooley first to get access to Meyer).
-A wide variety of in person group exercise classes.
-Live virtual classes through Elevation Live and recorded classes through Elevation Station
2. How does my Spouse/Partner sign up for a membership?
-They will sign up by visiting www.jhmifitness.com and clicking on “sign up for membership” and select “family/other” and the membership that corresponds with the main member’s membership listed above. They will receive an email from the Membership Coordinator to confirm who they are the partner of the main member.
3. If I leave Hopkins will my membership be canceled?
-No! Members who are leaving Hopkins must complete a cancellation form via our website on www.jhmfitness.com
4. Why does it say “Elevation Health” on my billing instead of the “Cooley Center” for my Employee, General, Non Subsidized Student, or Family/partner student membership?
-Elevation Health is the managing company for the Cooley Center.
5. Can I bring a Guest with me to use the gym?
-Log into your portal account at
www.elevationfitnessportal.com and purchase a guest pass and invite your guest.
5. Does my Guest have to check in with me at the kiosk?
-Yes, you both have to check into the kiosk together at Cooley.
6. Do I need to sign up for Group Exercise Classes?
Yes, visit
www.elevationfitnessportal.com to sign up for group exercise classes as early as 48 hours before the class starts.
7. Do you offer Personal Training?
-Yes! You can submit an interest form for personal training at www.jhmifitness.com under the "personal training" tab. You will then be contacted by our fitness manager to discuss options and set you up with a trainer.
