Cardiovascular Endurance
This is a fun step aerobics exercise session combining step, body-weight exercises and basic lifts and to get your body sweating and grooving to the beat!

Abdominal & Core Strengthening
Work your abdominal, obliques, & back! Trim & strengthen your waist line.

YIN-YASA YOGA
Mind~Body~Spirit
this practice will combine vinyasa & yin yoga. A blend of yang/yin; the first portion of class utilizes the heat of vinyasa flow, and is then followed with the cooling stillness of yin postures to achieve balance. A flow through sun salutations & standing postures followed by passive holds of yin to target joints, connective tissues, & fascia.

PILATES
Mind~Body~Spirit
this class is a mind/body class that will focus on a variation of the Pilates mat workout using various props and contemporary movements that will help develop a strong inner core while sculpting long, lean muscles

KETTLE & KICK
Cardiovascular & Muscular Endurance
is a fusion of kettlebells and kickboxing. This class will incorporate kicking and punching combinations along with classic kettlebell strength training exercises.

BOOT CAMP
High Intensity Interval Training
is a combination of strength and cardio training that will burn fat & increase muscular strength and endurance. H.I.I.T. maximizes calorie burn and increase your metabolism during &after your workout

CARDIO CIRCUIT
Cardiovascular Endurance
is a cardio workout with body weight exercises & calisthenics drills added in the mix to get your body sweating, heart pumping, and muscles burning!

FIT & FLOW
Muscular Strength & Flexibility
is a fusion of yoga asana using weights during a vinyasa style yoga class combined with classical Hatha asana

Wild Card
is a 30 minute exercise class that can be different each workout from week to week.

Equipment Orientation
Equipment orientations are available by appointment with staff. An equipment orientation is not a personal training session for members to request exercise routines or a personalized workout program. An equipment orientation is a scheduled opportunity with a staff member to show you proper use of fitness equipment, how to do the exercises designed for equipment and explain the muscles trained while doing appropriate exercises on the equipment.*

Fitness Assessments
Fitness Assessments consists of a variety of standardized tests to evaluate your current level of health and fitness. The assessment measures vitals, body composition, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength & endurance, and flexibility. The results provide feedback so that we can recommend an appropriate exercise prescription for your current health and fitness level.*

Need to find Balance in your busy life? Let us help. Our Life & Wellness Coaching Program will assist you in time management, daily de-stressing techniques, and an improved overall sense of well-being.
Personal Training
Personal Training is just that! A personalized training session focused on YOU! We provide guidance & motivation to help you achieve your fitness goals.
You will work with BFC Staff, who are nationally certified Personal Trainers having years of experience providing training to a wide range of clients and/or holding a degree in Kinesiology or related field. Benefits of personal training include: Better/Faster Results, Consistency, Accountability, and Maximized Time and Efficiency.
Personal Training can be purchased in 30 minute or 1-hour sessions. Discounted rates apply when you purchase multiple sessions.
Bayview Fitness Center Outreach Services
Bayview Fitness Center offers on site and departmental outreach service requests. We will work directly with you to provide services that fit your or your departments needs. Please be sure to submit your request as early as possible to allow us adequate time to secure a credentialed therapist/practitioner.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Chakras are centers of energy located all over the body. We have seven main chakras, which align the spine, starting from the base of the spine through to the crown of the head. When our chakras are open and energy "prana" flows freely, we experience ideal health and well-being.

Christine L. Flora
Christine L. Flora is joining the Bayview Fitness Center as the Program Manager. She hold a BS in Exercise Physiology and is a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Yoga Teacher. She brings extensive knowledge and experience in Fitness & Wellness Center management, along with many years of group fitness instruction and personal training experience.
She brings over 15 years of experience in working in the fitness, health, and wellness industry both corporate and commercial. As a Fitness & Wellness Center manager she has managed centers for Towson University, Baltimore County Department of Aging, and Catholic Relief Services. During her time at these centers, she created fun and motivational incentive programs, health education lectures, and hands-on workshops which helped her clients meet their personal fitness goals and in turn, influence positive employee/client morale.
In addition, to her management skills she also has overseen and instructed an array of group fitness classes which have catered to very diverse populations. These classes include Power Sculpt, Kickboxing, Boot Camp, Pi-Yo, and Yin-Yasa Yoga to name a few. As a personal trainer, she has trained everyone from athletes to senior clients with special needs and limited mobility. Christine enjoys infusing her knowledge of yoga principles into her personal training sessions to enhance her clients overall well-being.
Christine is dedicated and committed to assisting her clients meet their fitness goals, as well as their physical and mental health. She is excited to share her skill set and compassion with the members of the Bayview Fitness Center.

Reggie Cole
Reggie Cole joins the Bayview Fitness Center as Assistant Manager along with Christine Flora who will resume the role of Program Manager. Reggie brings 20 years of experience in the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer and group exercise coordinator. He is diversely skilled in group exercise teaching step aerobics, circuit training, stretch/flexibility training and variations of Pilates mat classes as well as dance for fitness.
As a personal trainer, he has trained clients who range in fitness from professional dancers and recreational athletes to hospital employees and students with a range of health issues such as arthritis, and lower back issues. As a coordinator he has developed fitness/activity incentive programs as well as managed a team of instructors at other corporate fitness centers for over 10 years.
Reggie enjoys combining the best of his professional experience and physical conditioning knowledge to develop workouts and classes that improve the overall health and well-being of others.
