I believe in functional training that helps you get stronger and live better every day lives.
Hi, my name is Sara and I grew up in Reisterstown, Maryland. I played softball & field hockey competitively throughout my childhood into my adulthood. After graduating from Towson University with a B.S. in Exercise Science, I started my internship with Elevation Corporate Health. It's now been close to 14 years with the same company and 11 years here at the Denton A. Cooley Center. My other passions are animals (especially my 2 dogs & 1 cat), eating out, cooking, watching awesome movies or TV, dancing, hiking or any other outdoor activities.

"Your body won't go where your mind doesn't push it."
I believe in using positivity, intensity, and motivation to get what you want. I was attracted to this industry because fitness has been a part of my whole life. I grew up in Baltimore County, playing sports throughout my childhood. I then went on to play lacrosse in college at Indiana University of PA. - where I played for 4 years. In college, I studied Kinesiology Health and Exercise Science. Since graduating, I completed an internship with Elevation Corporate Health and proceeded to get a full-time position within the company here at Cooley. I teach classes and train clients of all ages and fitness levels. In my free time, I coach girls lacrosse and I enjoy cooking, watching good TV, and of course, exercising.

"Keep it simple. It doesn't have to be hard to be effective"
Homegrown in Baltimore, MD. As a former professional model, I got into fitness to help maintain my size and adapt my look for different roles. As I started to learn more about the health and fitness field, I found I had a real affinity for a job in the industry. Playing sports at Cooley, basketball, racquetball & squash, helped me to find my footing and my passion for competition & coaching. When I'm not at work, you'll find me listening to music, watching movies & shopping (finding great deals).

Hard work + dedication = success
As a fellow East Baltimorean, I grew up playing a variety of sports: basketball, football, racquetball, track & field. Because of my love of sports, I landed at the Cooley Center at the age of 14; where I found myself spending a majority of my time. My background in sports led me to find my passion for fitness and helping people. As a lifetime member of the Cooley Center, I know the history and people that make this place so special; which gives me the expertise in customer service. When I’m not at Cooley, you’ll find me coaching youth basketball and football. My family keeps me busy and focused in my spare time.

I am a ISSA-Specialist in Exercise Therapy and Fitness Nutrition and have also received a degree in Exercise Science from ISSA. I graduated from Coppin State University where I ran Track and Field. I train athletes from various sports in speed and agility. In my free time, I like to travel, watch sports, and help others become healthy. I love to teach Bootcamp style classes and always change up my format to keep participants on their toes.

"Lift with your IQ, not with your Ego"
I've worked in a number of gyms over the last 20 years and this is the best staff of Personal Trainers I've ever been associated with. I will only say I'm old and I'm in great shape, I eat right and workout. Our patterned behaviors and rote habits are what really dictate our lives and fitness levels. If you are willing to put in the time and make some sacrifices with your diet, I will get you in the shape you desire.
I hail from Towson, MD. When I'm not at work, you'll find me spending time with my wife, engaging in political discussions, mountain biking, watching & playing sports.
ACSM Certified Personal Trainer
Willing to embrace out of the box training styles and tailor programs to meet the client's needs.
Transplant from State College, PA. Lifelong athlete, including football & track/field. Having an interest in the building blocks of fitness, I sought a B.S. in Exercise Science at Slippery Rock University. Post graduation, I interned at Specialty Orthopedics in Hermitage, PA, working with clients aged 8-93. Clientele included amateur & professional athletes, geriatrics and special needs populations. In the summer of 2017, I joined the Elevation Corporate Health team and have worked at multiple sites for the past year. Now I'm ready so settle into the Cooley Center, starting May 1, 2018. Outside of the gym, I like playing the guitar, watching Netflix & spoiling my cat, Juju. Introduce yourself when you see me, the new guy!
